Gerrards Cross Summer School 2009
Some
scenes from the School
We
had some nice weather for the School in 2009, but not all the
time. We are in England after all.

Some
people enjoyed having lunch outdoors

Some classes are just what the photographer
wants! Lots going on and photogenic results like this class in
card making.
The T’ai Chi and Qi
Gong for
Health class enjoyed the spacious grounds at the Memorial Centre.
Meanwhile, there is lunch to consider. Ann, our talented caterer,
likes to have a theme each day and one such theme was the Teddy Bear's
picnic.

So here is a neat
little display by the menu
board outside the Colston Hall where we have lunch and the menu for that day. We
also have
morning coffee and an afternoon cup of tea in that hall, plus a biscuit
for the really hungry.

Ann's team, and
Ann herself, serve each diner with all the goodies on offer.

And then there is
space to sit and enjoy good food and good company.
Art classes, like this
one, are very practical. Here some students are watching
the expert do it the right way and improving their own technique.

Have I got
this right?
Perhaps two minds are better than one.
Finally,
the 2009 team is busy in its office at the Memorial Centre.

We hope you will feature somewhere in a similar set of photographs
in 2010. See you then.
